Welcome to the Central Equatoria State Civil Society Network(CESCSN)

We are a vibrant network of civil society organizations working together to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development across Central Equatoria State, South Sudan. With a membership base of over 50 national CSOs and nearly 80 partner organizations, CESCSN serves as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and advocacy.

At CESCSN, we believe in the power of community-driven solutions. Our mission is to empower local organizations, amplify their voices, and foster partnerships that address the region’s most pressing challenges. Through our collective efforts, we aim to build a resilient society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

What we do

Peacebuilding & Conflict Resolution

We facilitate dialogue and reconciliation to promote peaceful coexistence and resolve conflicts across Central Equatoria.

Humanitarian Response

Our network provides immediate support and coordination during crises to meet the urgent needs of affected communities.

Advocacy & Policy Engagement

We amplify the voices of local organizations and communities, lobbying for policies that promote social justice, equality, and sustainable development.

Capacity Building & Training

We strengthen the skills and capacities of civil society organizations through mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing programs.

Community-Led Development

We promote the localization agenda by empowering communities to lead initiatives that align with their needs and priorities.

Women and Youth Empowerment

We support women-led and youth-led organizations, ensuring their active participation in development and governance processes.

Resource Mobilization & Partnerships

We collaborate with government bodies, international partners, and donors to mobilize resources and drive sustainable solutions

Environmental Sustainability

We advocate for climate action and sustainable practices to protect the environment and enhance community resilience.
